This is a drawing of a weather vane in the shape of a rooster. The image depicts a silhouette of a rooster perched upon a framework that forms the base of the weather vane. The rooster is oriented to the left, with its tail fanned out and prominent comb and beak visible. The structure supporting the rooster is comprised of simplistic geometric forms consisting of straight lines intersecting at angles that mimic the rooster's natural stance. Fine detailing in the rooster's plumage and outline suggest a precision in linework. Vertical and horizontal supports below the rooster suggest the functional aspect of the weather vane. The drawing is accompanied by dimensions in the bottom left. The artist's name, Rollington Campbell, is inscribed at the bottom right.
