This is a painting of a decorative weather vane design. It features a weather vane adorned with ornamental scrollwork and topped with an arrow pointing to the right with the year "1879" inscribed on it. The cardinal directions N, E, S, and W are also affixed to the structure. A smaller inset drawing on the bottom left corner shows the detailed measurements of the weather vane design. The color palette consists of warm golden tones and crisp black lines on a light background.
