Artist, American, active c. 1935

The sculpture depicts the bust of a woman with a bun hairstyle. She is wearing a faded blue draped garment. The sculpture appears to be made of wood, with visible wear and rough texture. Some remnants of paint are on her face and upper body, but much has worn away. Her garment has folds and drapes with a section of yellowish-beige material wrapping around the lower part of the bust. The sculpture has a classical style but shows signs of age.
