The sculpture depicts a male figure with Native American attributes, wearing a light brown long-sleeve jacket and pants, a red cloth sash across the waist, and a fringed fabric, possibly a loincloth, hanging down. The figure is standing on a gray platform with the words "A. Sonneman - Tobacco" written in bold black letters. The figure is holding a cluster of tobacco leaves in his left hand, resting against his chest, and is adorned with a blueish-gray turban or headdress on his head. The skin of the sculpture is painted a brownish hue, matching the rest of the clothing, and there is some intricate detailing to give the appearance of texture, such as folds in the fabric and the surface of the tobacco leaves. The statue has a strong, upright posture, with both feet firmly planted on the platform.
