The image shows a group of people gathered outdoors. Two main figures are depicted, one standing in profile facing the other who is facing away. The first person is dressed in attire typical of the 17th or 18th century, with a long coat, shirt, stockings, shoes, and a wide-brimmed hat. They have European facial features and wavy hair under the hat. The second person is minimally clothed, wearing what seems to be a cloth around their waist. They are muscular and gesturing with their right hand. Several other men in similar period clothing, some with hats and swords, are also visible. The background includes a fenced area, buildings or structures, ships on the water, and clouds in the sky, suggesting an outdoor setting near a port or settlement. There is a bundle on the ground between the two main figures.
