This is a detailed print of a great blue heron standing at the water's edge with its beak pointed downward. The heron is standing on brown ground and is surrounded by tall, pale-green grass. Its plumage exhibits a mix of blues, grays, and whites, with a splash of reddish orange on its leg and the top of its wing. The bird's elongated neck is bent down, and its yellow beak is open. Its wings are not fully extended, but they are raised upwards. It faces the left, and its head is in profile, with its eye looking out at us. The background behind the bird is blank, off-white paper.
