The image shows a natural scene with tall, slender trees dominating the composition. The trees have vertical trunks and delicate branches, with a suggestion of gently sloping hills beyond them. Detailed brushstrokes create texture and depth, with a monochromatic palette of soft shades of grey and sepia. In the distance, foliage and terrain are softly etched in the background.
