The painting depicts a complex narrative scene with various figures engaged in different activities on a hillside. The image has a medieval illustration style, reminiscent of works from the late Middle Ages or early Renaissance. Various individuals are interacting with each other, with some standing and others reclining on the ground. Buildings are visible in the background to the left under a shining sun, while the skyline features rolling hills with pathways leading among them. Groups of figures appear in traditional clothing, some with head coverings, while a solitary figure points at another or gestures. A couple of figures in iron armor lie on the ground.
