The image shows an industrial landscape with factories and trees. The horizon is low in the composition, with factories on the right billowing smoke and tall trees on the left next to a water canal. The smoke and clouds are depicted with soft, swirling strokes, contrasting the linear brushstrokes of the industrial structures. The color palette is mostly shades of gray and black.
