The image features multiple figures surrounding a central seated figure holding a child. The central figure is dressed in draped fabric and is surrounded by figures, some with wings. She has gentle facial features and her head is covered with a veil. The child in her lap is nude. Surrounding her are angels and another figure, possibly a queen, elegantly clothed in a richly patterned dress and crown, with an offering gesture towards the child. The angels are engaged in musical activities. The figures have classical expressions, with curly hair. The background depicts clouds and cherubic figures with wings. There are architectural elements, such as a fluted column with an ornate capital and a large piece of drapery hanging from it.
