The image shows a full-body view of a seated woman on the right and a full-body view of a winged cherub standing beside her on the left. The woman is positioned in profile, facing left, with her legs crossed and her upper body leaning slightly forward. She has classical facial features and her hair is styled back, adorned with a laurel wreath. Her clothing is a draped classical gown, cinched at the waist, and there is fabric resting on her knees. She is holding a scroll in her left hand. The cherub is holding a large pair of compasses and a set of scales, and stands beside the woman on the ground. The background features simple architectural elements and the words "DIALECTICA" and a monogram "P C" appear in the top left corner of the image.
