This is a painting of a seated elderly figure with a younger figure in a large decorative initial. The elderly figure holds a wooden cross, while the younger figure embraces the cross. They sit on a throne-like platform with a richly adorned background of golden and floral patterns. Surrounding them is an ornate frame with lush green acanthus leaves and intricate designs that extend into the border of the page, indicating that this is an illuminated manuscript. This artwork is done in the style of a medieval or Renaissance manuscript illumination.
