The image shows an upper half view of a person in a seated position. The person is facing forward and slightly towards the left, with their left arm resting on a surface. Their face is shown in profile, revealing fine facial features and short hair. The clothing of the person appears to be light. The background has a textured pattern with dot-like formations on the right and linear, striated patterns on the left. There are no visible jewelry items or objects. The etching is signed "M. C." in the bottom right corner.
