The image shows a scene with two people. The first person, a woman, is lying across cushions or a low sofa faced down, with her right arm extended forward and her head turned slightly to the side. She has long, dark hair and is wearing a dress with long sleeves and a full skirt. Her feet in heeled shoes are at the other end of the cushions. To her left, a man is partially visible, standing in the doorway and leaning against the doorframe. He has short, dark hair and is dressed in a shirt and trousers. There is a painting on the wall in the background and an ornate chair to the right. The room is shaded in soft tones.
