Associated Names
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec

Artist, French, 1864 - 1901

The image features a partial figure of a woman shown from the waist up, positioned in profile with her head slightly bowed. Her facial features are delicately defined, with a prominent nose and lips, and her hair is styled upward in an elaborate fashion atop her head. She is dressed in a garment with visible patterns, characterized by flowing lines and textures. Behind her are two other figures depicted in a somewhat ghostly manner; one appears to wear a crown and the other a feathered cap. The background is sketchy and abstract.
