This is a drawing of a large face in an arched frame, observed by two smaller figures. The face has closed eyes and a contemplative expression, with a hand resting against its chin. It is surrounded by a dark frame, giving the appearance of being part of a grand sculpture within a hall. Two small silhouetted figures stand below, looking up at the face. Cross-hatching and shadows are used to add depth and texture, creating a dramatic scene.
