Artist, British, active 1803/1815

The image shows a pastoral scene with cows resting and grazing in a landscape. The view is from a slightly elevated angle, capturing the horizon, a distant hill or mountain, and a group of trees. The lithographic print uses fine linework to depict textures in the foliage and trees. The color palette is black and off-white, typical of lithographs. A large, weathered tree is prominent on the right side of the composition.
