The image is an etching depicting a waterfront scene with a lighthouse to the left. A path or breakwater leads towards the lighthouse. The horizon is high in the distance, showing the sky and the sea. The style is sketchy with linear brushstrokes indicating movement and texture. Monochromatic tones and varying line density create depth. Masts of potential ships are visible in the distance, as well as a small bird in the sky.
