This print depicts a rural landscape from a ground level perspective. The composition shows a distant view of hills behind a body of water in the center. The print includes loose, expressive lines and cross-hatching for texture, especially on the trees and foliage nearest to us, in front of the water. Farther away, a small structure is partially hidden by foliage on the right.
