This print depicts a man and a woman standing side by side. The woman is in profile, facing left, while the man stands slightly behind her on the right, also in profile, facing towards the woman. The woman has a high forehead with a hairstyle that forms a large loop or bun at the back of her head. She wears an elaborate dress, with heavy embroidery and a ruffled collar, along with an ornate necklace. The man has a long, full beard and wears a soft cap on his head. He is dressed in a luxurious cloak with wide sleeves and embroidery. He is reaching over to the left with one hand, where he holds one of the woman's hands. The ground they stand on is a small hill shaded with crosshatching lines. The background is plain, with a small rectangular panel in the top right inscribed with the year "1538" and a monogram.
