The image shows a cloudy sky with no visible horizon. The clouds cover the upper right portion in various shades of gray with bright areas where light shines through. The left side is in deep shadows, creating a contrast with the illuminated sections. The overall palette is monochromatic with blacks, grays, and whites, capturing movement and tension in the sky. The high contrast between light and darkness is highlighted by smooth gradation of tones across the clouds.
