The image depicts a rustic landscape with a large rocky hill in the center. Wooden buildings are situated on top of the hill. The horizon is high, showing terrain and structures in detail. The etching style uses fine lines and hatching for textures on the rock face and foliage. The color palette is monochromatic in sepia and black tones. A body of water reflects parts of the scene with small figures and boats. In the distance, another building with a pointed roof is visible on an elevated terrain.
