The etching depicts a low angle view looking up from a path. Tall trees with dense foliage obscure the horizon. There is a fence and a structure among the trees. The brushstrokes are expressive and loose, with fine lines for detail. The color palette is monochromatic, with contrast between dark and light areas. The sky is lighter in the background, accentuating the silhouette of the trees and house.
