The image shows a landscape with a low horizon line and distant hills with small structures. In the foreground, two men are pushing a horse-drawn cart. The horse faces to the right, pulling the cart. The path leads to undulating hills with sparse vegetation and trees. The scene is depicted in a monochromatic sepia tone, resembling an etching. Fine brushstrokes create detailed textures for the trees and grass.
