This image depicts a decorative fountain. The drawing shows a stone fountain with a grand face from which water cascades. Two putti are situated on either side of the face, seemingly interacting with the fountain. The fountain is surrounded by an arch made of stone blocks, adding a sense of depth and antiquity to the composition. The flowing water is depicted with animated, carved textures, while cross-hatching is used to enhance the three-dimensional effect of the stonework and figures. Foliage frames the scene on both sides of the fountain, suggesting a natural or garden setting.
