The image shows an ornately decorated portrait engraving of a man's upper body in an oval frame. The man faces slightly to his left with a receding hairline, a closely cropped hairstyle, and a beard. He wears a garment with a large ruffled collar. On either side of the portrait are two winged figures with floral garlands. The background is detailed with patterns, scrollwork, an emblem, and ornamental vases.
