The engraving depicts a seated individual in regal attire holding a closed book and a scepter. They have detailed facial features, an elaborate hairstyle, and wear a high collar and richly patterned gown. A crown is on their head above a halo-like circle, with a royal crest in the upper left corner. A French inscription is at the bottom of the image.
