This is a painting depicting a crucifixion scene set in a cityscape. The central figure on a cross with an inscription "INRI" above is adorned with a crown of thorns and visible wounds. Surrounding the central figure are robed figures in various colors positioned around the cross. In the background, there is a detailed landscape with green fields, a town with buildings including what appears to be a castle and a church with red rooftops. A small hill with trees and a winding path are also visible. The style is similar to the detailed woodcuts and engravings of Albrecht Dürer.
