The image shows an engraving of a man from the chest up, positioned facing forward with a serious expression. He has a full beard and mustache, and short, slightly wavy hair parted to the side. He wears a high-collared garment with an elaborate ruff around his neck. The oval frame around him is intricately designed with scrollwork and two serpents. Also visible are a small image of a bearded face at the top and a depiction of an open book with the text "Liber Seditiosor" at the bottom.
