This print shows the outlines of two women. The woman on the left is seated, facing the right. Her facial features, including a long, straight nose and a small mouth, are drawn in simple lines. Her hair is pulled over one shoulder, away from us. A section of her head between her eye and ear is filled with dark scribbles and the shapes of flowers. Her arms are long, and her hands rest on her bent knees. The woman appears to sit on a low surface covered in a draped cloth. On the right, a woman stands with her back to us. None of her face is visible. Her hair is pulled over her right shoulder. There are small horizontal lines in the bottom left corner by the feet of the women, perhaps indicating ripples in water. Behind the two of them, a straight horizontal line is the only background. The lines in the print are thin and dark against beige paper.”
