This is a drawing of a centaur triumphing over a serpent. The drawing depicts a centaur holding a long pole or spear, standing over a defeated serpentine creature on the ground. The serpent is shown curled and twisted. The centaur is portrayed with defined musculature and flowing hair. The use of shading and line work brings texture and depth to both creatures.
