The image shows an interior scene with a large assembly of individuals in a grand hall. People are seated or standing in rows, dressed in robes and capes, some wearing historical formal hats. The individuals face away or sideways from the viewer. The hall has a central aisle with seated individuals on two sides facing each other. A chair resembling a throne, under a canopy, is located further into the room, where a person is seated. The floor is checkered, and large windows line the walls. The background is richly decorated, implying formality or ceremony.
