The image shows an engraved portrait of a male figure in an oval frame. He is facing the viewer but slightly turned to his left, with a distinguished face featuring prominent cheekbones, a pointed nose, and a neatly trimmed mustache and goatee. His short hair is styled with a slight wave and brushed back. He wears a richly adorned garment with an elaborate lace ruff around his neck, and holds a baton or staff in his right hand. The background includes an oval with an inscription around the border and heraldic symbols in each corner of the rectangular frame. Latin text is inscribed below the portrait.
