This is an engraving showing a portrait of a man depicted from the waist up, positioned facing slightly to his right while looking forward. He has distinct facial features with a prominent beard and mustache. His hair is covered by a close-fitting cap. He is wearing a robe with a fur collar, visible beneath an elaborate ruffled collar. The figure holds a small book in his left hand. The portrait is set within an ornately decorated oval frame, featuring swirling designs and text. Above the figure, there is a crest with a crown and crossed croziers. The background behind the oval frame is richly patterned, with text along the edges of the frame, identifying him as George Mountain, a Bishop of London. Below the portrait, there is an inscription detailing his titles and attributes, with the date 1639 noted at the bottom.
