The image depicts a man from the waist up. He is positioned facing slightly to his left with his head turned towards the viewer. The man has a closely cropped beard and a mustache with a high forehead, short curly hair, and is wearing elaborate clothing, including an ornate jacket and a large, ruffled collar. He is adorned with a chain of office around his neck and is holding a baton or scepter in his right hand. Surrounding the portrait is an intricately designed border with heraldic symbols, and beneath the portrait, there is an inscription of text in an elegant calligraphic style. The background behind him is textured.
