He wears an elaborate outfit with a high lace collar, a detailed jacket with armor-like elements, and a sash across his chest. His right hand rests on his hip and the background features a crest with heraldic symbols. A Latin inscription surrounds the oval frame, and the lower portion includes a description identifying the man as Henry Rich, Earl of Holland.
