The image shows three figures in a detailed illustration. In the center is a person in a medallion-style frame, displaying the head and shoulders. The person has classical features with curly hair and laurel leaves, dressed in ancient Roman clothing and holding a small book or tablet. Flanking the central figure are two standing men in classical robes. The background features architectural elements and columns, evoking ancient Roman surroundings. Above, an eagle is perched on a pedestal adorned with a wreath and other classical ornaments. Text at the bottom specifies "JUVENALLS SATYRS" and the author Sir Robert Stapylton, Kt. Gent. of the Privy Chamber to the Prince, with decorative scrollwork and artistic embellishments.
