The image shows a detailed engraving of a bust portrait of a man within an oval frame decorated with a laurel wreath pattern. The man is facing slightly to the right, with his face turned toward the viewer's left. He has long, wavy hair falling to his shoulders and a calm expression on his face. He is dressed in scholarly or clerical attire, wearing a dark robe with a buttoned shirt and a white collar. To his right inside the frame, there is a smaller head depicted in profile. Below the frame, there is an inscription in Latin on a plaque. The background consists of fine vertical lines, and the entire composition is set against a lightly textured surface with visible engravings of lines and borders.
