This image shows a portrait engraving of a man from the chest up. He is positioned slightly turned to his left but gazes directly at the viewer. His facial features are prominent with a straight nose and full lips. His hair is long, reaching past his shoulders, curly, and parted in the middle. He is wearing a dark cloak or robe with a large, white collar visible at the neckline. There are no visible jewelry or objects held by the individual. The background consists of a textured pattern within an octagonal frame, and there is an engraved signature at the bottom reading "Ms. Abraham Cowley" along with "W. Faithorne Sculp."
