The man is wearing an ornate garment with a high collar and a cloak, with a sword at his side. Surrounding him are smaller portraits of four other men, each depicted head and shoulders. These men also have distinctive facial hair and wear period clothing. The background includes decorative borders and Latin inscriptions.
