This engraving features a bust portrait of a man dressed in Elizabethan attire, with a crown above his head. The man has short, curly hair, a mustache and goatee, and is adorned in an elaborate outfit with a high collar and decorated doublet. Surrounding the portrait is an oval frame with text, set within an architectural facade. Seated female figures flank the portrait, one holding a sword and shield, the other a feather quill. Below them sits a crowned lion with a sword and orb. The background includes classical architectural motifs with columns and pediments, all depicted using fine linework to convey textures and patterns.
