The image depicts a bearded man with flowing hair standing in a slightly stooped position. The man has detailed facial features with a strong, serious expression, deep-set eyes, and a prominent beard. He is wearing a loose, long robe that covers most of his body, revealing his bare feet. In his left hand, he holds a book, and his right hand holds a long staff resting on the ground. A halo with radiating lines surrounds his head, and the background has simple lines defining the halo effect and ground texture. The initials "I G B" appear to the right of the figure, and the ground beneath his feet is depicted with grass or foliage.
