Three individuals are depicted from the waist up, all wearing dark clothing and top hats. The person on the left is in profile, facing the center, with a long face and prominent cheekbones. Their hair is thin and tucked under the hat. The middle person is leaning towards the left individual, wearing glasses, with a round face and a few visible curls of hair beneath the hat. The person on the right is also in profile but slightly turned towards the center, with a long, narrow face and more pronounced facial features, holding a cane in front of them. They have their eyes slightly closed and their lips slightly pursed. The background is plain, emphasizing the subjects in the foreground.
