This is a drawing of a pastoral scene depicting figures in nature. The image is an intricately detailed line drawing set during a moment of rest under large trees, with foliage forming a canopy overhead. In the central part of the scene, a seated figure is depicted beside a small animal lying on the ground. Other figures are gathered around, one reclining and another in a kneeling position, seemingly offering something. The landscape features trees and possibly a body of water in the background. Textural details are evident in the pattern of leaves and the folds of drapery, adding depth to the scene.
