The image shows a landscape with a castle-like structure in the distance placed in the upper third of the composition. The structure is partially obscured by leafy trees in muted yellow and green tones. The foreground features earth tones in rust and brown hues with a small body of water reflecting blue. The sky above is broad and expansive with light blue and white washes and fluffy clouds. The brushstrokes are gentle and impressionistic.
