The image is a sketch of a man's head and shoulders in profile view. His head is turned slightly to his left, and he has prominent facial features including high cheekbones, a prominent nose, and deep-set eyes. He has a full head of hair, a large white beard and mustache covering much of his face and neck. He is dressed in a high-collared garment. The background is textured with cross-hatching and the overall tone is monochromatic, using various shades of black and white. There are no visible signs of jewelry, and the background is plain.
