The scene shows a faun-like figure playing a stringed instrument next to a woman who is holding a small child. The faun has goat-like legs, cloven hooves, a human torso, sharp facial features, a beard, and small horns. He has curly hair. The woman has soft features and wears a head wrap. She is reclined on a grassy mound, holding the child close to her chest. The background is simple with sketched lines indicating a natural setting and sparse vegetation. A caduceus symbol is drawn in the top right corner.
