The sketch shows a stone bridge with arches over a body of water. The horizon is high with rooftops and buildings beyond the bridge. The drawing is light and loose with fine pencil lines outlining the bridge and buildings. It is monochromatic and features rooftops and faint outlines of human figures and a cart.
