Artist, French, 1864 - 1901

The image is a pencil sketch of two people from slightly above the waist up. The person on the left, a man, is standing at a slight angle with his body partly turned to the side. He has a mustache, short hair, and a visible hat on his head. He is wearing a striped suit jacket with a bow tie. The woman on the right is in profile view, facing the man. Her hair is neatly styled and pulled back, possibly in a bun. She is dressed in a high-collared blouse with long loose sleeves. Her hands are positioned in front of her, holding an indistinct object. The background has lightly detailed vertical and horizontal lines, resembling a wall or patterned surface. The sketch has a warm, vintage tone with sepia coloring.
