Artist, French, 1864 - 1901

This artwork depicts an interior scene with a central person dancing energetically. This person is mostly turned away from us, although their face is visible in profile, facing the right. They are wearing all white clothing with a checkered cap, and their skin is in shades of blue and black. On the left is a person in a suit with a bowtie who has light-green skin, and on the right is a seated person with white skin wearing a suit jacket holding a harp. Behind them is a room with blue walls filled with a crowd of people in jackets and hats who watch the dancer. One person in the crowd has pale-pink skin, while the rest have white skin. A small table in the bottom left corner holds a plate of food and a vase with colorful flowers. The print is surrounded by a thick border of off-white paper.
